The theme for our Show & Tell is 'My favourite thing'. We're having two children to kickstart it this week.
I've demonstrated to the children on how it can be done:
- Introduce the item (what it is)
- State the reason on why it is your favourite thing
- State the giver or person who bought it for you
- Other things worth mentioning: when it was bought or given to you, why the giver gave it to you and special features of the thing
Each presentation should last for about 3 to 5 minutes. Please allow your child to bring an item of his or her choice to school. On the side of caution, I've asked the children not to bring expensive items such as PSP or handphones to school. If it so happens that their favourite thing is something expensive, they may want to take a picture of it for the Show & Tell session instead.
