The children went to the zoo last Thursday for their 'Outdoor Learning at the Zoo' experience.
The purpose of this trip is not only for the children's enjoyment, but also to tie in with our Science Project Work - Creating an Imaginary Animal.
After the trip, the children will be asked to brainstorm features of animals, and step by step, plan and design an imaginary animal of their own in groups of fours.
