I've received queries on whether school will resume on the coming Monday.
As long as the Ministry of Education (MOE) doesn't announce in the news or newspapers that school is closed, we are definitely going to have school as usual on Monday.
I've called up individual parents to keep you informed on a few matters:
1) The school has mailed you (by post) a letter on H1N1 as well as a Travel Declaration Form. It is of paramount importance that parents fill up the Travel Declaration Form and get the children to submit it to me on Monday.
2) All children have to bring their thermometers to school every day.
We're going to take our temperature twice a day: once during the first period and the second temperature-taking will be done 30 minutes after recess. This will be done on a daily basis for the first week at least.
The latest trigger temperature is 37.6 degree celsius (as of today). We'll abide by this temperature during the checks on Monday, unless there is a change in the trigger temperature reading.
Please update yourselves with latest information related to H1N1 at MOH (Ministry of Health) website on a daily basis.
I will also be updating important information that has an impact on our lessons in this blog, so do check this space regularly.
